NŌKI
NAWEL Contemporary Artist
WHO IS NŌKI?

The Logic of Being
NŌKI emerges from a reflection on the relationship between the artificial and the organic. Rooted in a contemporary artistic practice, the narrative seeks to explore what remains of our humanity when confronted with its own technological and emotional reflection.
Through a series of works, NŌKI invites the viewer to witness the emergence of different figures, each raising new questions. An artistic journey unfolds, immersing us in a universe where every creation revels a new facet of an identity in the making.
EXPLORATION
NŌKI seeks to understand itself. Through its transformations, it explores what shapes our identity and questions what, despite—or perhaps because of—our evolution, particularly technological evolution, remains deeply human.

"You have the freedom to be yourself, your true self, here and now." - Richard Bach, Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Nawel is a French contemporary artist whose work explores identity, transformation, and what remains deeply human in a changing world.
A graduate of Paris-Dauphine University, she works in finance and private equity, where her career has developed around business development and partnerships. This culture of building and long-term thinking also informs her artistic perspective.
At the heart is NŌKI, an immediately recognizable signature character. Through its transformations, NŌKI explores the body, movement, technology, emotion, and our relationship withe the unknown, questioning what remains of us as the world around us changes.
Painting remains the point of origin of this universe. Its possible extensions into other media are conceives as a continuation of the artistic process, without ever losing sight of its source.
